HEAVENS TA BETSY "BETSY"

"Betsy" is a 2013 gray mare sired by JL Dash Ta Heaven and out of a stakes winning daughter of the great TB Moro. Betsy is one of the most naturally talented and athletic horses we have ever had the pleasure of owning. 2019 was our first year owning and running Betsy, and her times were fairly inconsistent as Samantha tried to figure out her running style. An injury and COVID provided the perfect timeframe for some time off, so in 2021 Betsy had a sorrel filly sired by French Streakin Jess and has since been running half a second off at supershows, and running in the 1D locally in our NBHA district.

"Famous" is a 2008 bay mare sired by Famous JR and out of a daughter of Sticks An Stones. She has locally been running in the 2D, and has snuck into the 1D a handful of times with her new rider. This mare was trained by Trent Roorda; Famous is safe, honest, and she tries super hard each time in the pen. We absolutely love this girl and are so happy we were offered the opportunity to purchase her! We will continue to run Famous and hope to flush her to Dollys StreakNbadger in 2023!
